2022 NAICS Update

NAICS codes are reviewed and revised every five years to keep the classification system current with changes in economic activities. In summary, 90 new industries were introduced, 2,472 were changed, and 64 were consolidated.

What does this mean for searching on Bizminer?

We have set up the industry search tool to redirect 2017 NAICS code searches to the corresponding 2022 NAICS code. Once you enter a code, an icon will appear next to the code letting you know that this has been affected by this update.

Once you select a code, you will also be shown a message on the selection page as seen below.
